Happy hump day! I am already outfit planning for the bank holiday weekend and thought I would share this outfit which I wore last Saturday on a night out in London. Plus it was an opportunity to style the mermaid shoes from Primark which everyone has been obsessing over since they dropped in store.

Ever since Kiera Knightley wore that cropped dress I’ve been in love with the style. This dress from Fashion Union at Brand Attic has a really subtle cropped detail which fits in nicely with the graphic print of the dress. It is definitely a day to night style dress as I could visualise myself wearing it for a more relaxed daytime look too. There’s something about a dress with capped sleeves that makes it super versatile. The a-line hem gives the dress a really fitted feel which would again be fun to play around with for a daytime look but yet it wouldn’t look out of place in the office too. I felt super cute wearing it, the dress is definitely a Summer winner for me.
This was my first time coming across Brand Attic but I’m really glad I discovered it. They have some awesome brands on there including Fashion Union, Anita & Green and AM London.
I’ve mentioned before that blue is one of my favourite colours to wear, and one which I regularly incorporate into my outfits so I decided to go all out with the blue again in this outfit by mixing different tones of blue. I wore the mermaid heels from Primark which I shared over on the Bec Boop instagram page last week and you all loved. These shoes are so fab!! A really great offering from Primark to be fair.
I’m actually so happy with these photos, for a small reason which means a lot to me – my smile. This is one of the first outfit posts I have shared here where I have a big open-mouthed smile and it happened without me even realising 🙂 I have been sharing outfit posts here for over two years now but because I was never happy with my smile you might have noticed I generally have my mouth closed – pout like. I have been getting the Invisalign Invisible Braces treatment for nearly 8 weeks now and I am so happy at the difference in this time period already. This makes me so positive for the end result!
I am totally loving the hairstyle too. I had a blow-out at Blo Blow-Dry-Bar in Covent Garden the morning that we took these photos on.
