My Thoughts on the New Bourjois Aqua Blush

Bourjois is probably one of my favourite drugstore cosmetics brands. I’m a sucker for their Parisian packaging and amazing scented products. I had been keeping an eye out for these creme blush babies to drop in-store and finally picked one up so of course I’ve taken some pretty photos and shared my thoughts on it right here with you. I actually showed this on Periscope (@BoopFashionista) at the time that I bought it and I know some of my Periscope viewers were looking forward to this review so I hope you guys enjoy it.

My Thoughts

Before I picked this up I had a preconceived idea in my head that it was going to make the perfect Summer blush product and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I settled on shade pink twice which is a light, pastel pink (See below). From looking at the testers of the other shades, this was the only one I thought would match my skin colouring. It’s very sheer and the gel-like formula made a pleasant change from heavy powder blush products especially during the Summer months when I generally tend to opt for lighter, more natural coverage. They are being serious when they say 1 light pump = 1 application. A little goes a very, very long way. I would advise to start with a teeny, tiny amount and build up gradually as needed as you really only need a small amount for a nice, sheer tint.
I quite like the colour and look, I can definitely seeing this being my everyday blush for the coming months. The shade is just too cute! It is very long-lasting too which I was a little skeptical about but it did genuinely last all day.

  1. It definitely looks amazing! I do hope it gives a nice sheer coverage! I'm not a huge fan of heavy blush no matter what the time of year it is!
