Outfit | Easter Egg Fashion

In the run-up to Easter I got to play around in an egg swing, all in the name of fashion! This has to be one of the most fun outfit shoots I’ve done to date. The outfit theme was for a weekend casual look and hopefully it will give you some outfit ideas for Spring. It’s that difficult time of year when the changeable weather makes outfit planning not so easy. It’s hot one minute and cold the next. That’s where you can mix and match trends from A/W and S/S such as the over-sized blazer and cropped top featured in this outfit.

Blazer Vintage Blitz London // Cropped top H&M // Black Jeans River Island // Converse // Hat Miss Selfridge

 On the Lips

I wore this outfit of the day in Galway for the weekend and I was stopped so many times in town by people asking where my hat is from! It’s a Miss Selfridge felt fedora.

I love a good vintage find and I recently picked up this over-sized blue blazer in one of the vintage markets here in London. I styled it for a casual weekend look focusing on blue, my favourite fashion colour of the moment (which you will already know if you’re following Bec Boop on Instagram). I had eggs-tra fun taking these outfit photos as you can clearly see. Converse symbolise fun shoes for me as they have such a laid back attitude associated with them. I love that they are such a stylish trainer and how you can make a strong fashion statement in your cons. You might recall I published a video towards the end of last year showing my Converse lookbook and some different ways that I would style them. I’m thinking of filming a Converse collection video soon for the Bec Boop YouTube channel too, so let me know in the comments if that’s something you’d like to see. I’m obsessing over blue in my wardrobe lately so it was time to dig out this royal blue felt fedora hat again. I also added this petite over-sized vintage blazer that I had picked up in London and a simple striped cropped top. I generally like to pair my cropped tops with an oversized shirt or blazer for a contrasting look. Being petite doesn’t mean that I have to steer clear of over-sized clothing, it’s all about how they are styled for the overall look. As there was so much blue going on I went for black denim jeans and I think these really pulled the entire outfit together.
