Yesterday the annual GTI Fashion Fiesta took place in the House Hotel in Galway city. I was kindly invited along to the pre fashion-show reception and scored a FROW seat for the show. Here is a look at what I wore, along with my thoughts on the event.

If you follow me on instagram (@bec_boop) you will know that I am quite the fan of selfies! I am also in love with the #selfie song which is out at the moment! So when I spotted this t-shirt in New Look a couple of weeks ago I just had to have it! I teamed it with the Urban Outfitters maxi skirt and added these blue heels for a pop of colour. I don’t often wear ankle-strap shoes as they can sometimes make me look even shorter than I already am but they worked for this look.
The fashion show itself was so entertaining. I have known a lot of the students since the Galway Bloggers Party and they could not be a nicer bunch! I have so often this year found myself wishing I was in their class studying fashion as this is what I love to do! I was so impressed by the outfits which were shown, I spotted so many pieces which I would love to work into my wardrobe. I’ve included some images below of my favourite looks from the night. We were also lucky enough to get an introduction to the host for the event; Laura Jayne Halton, a past student of GTI who has gone on to great success in the fashion industry.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved in putting together the fashion fiesta!
