I was recently invited to visit O’Donnell boutique in Limerick city and am excited to reveal part 1 of my collaboration with this family-run boutique!

Yellow top c/o O’Donnell boutique // Leggings River Island // wedges Penneys/Primark
O’Donnell boutique have been in Limerick for over 60 years and I really can’t believe I have never had the opportunity to visit them before! The first thing that struck me in the store was the vibrant colours of their collection which are great for SS14. They stock a wide range including trendy, modern labels such as Lily and FEE G. I selected this gorgeous Lily top which I wore yesterday, to style for the shoot. Yellow is a colour I don’t go for too often but with the sun beginning to creep out again I think it’s the perfect time to brighten up my wardrobe! The detail in this top is so beautiful with a mix of quilted material, sheer sleeves and embroidery detail. I wore it with simple black leggings and wedges as I wanted the top to do all the talking. It felt amazing to wear, I really love it! I would wear this top to a fashion event and can predict it will be a statement piece for me over the coming season. Discovering new brands is one of the things I really love about blogging, and I am excited to be working with O’Donnell Boutique on this project.
We shot these photos in a new venue in Galway city which I am pretty excited about! Urban restaurant & Wine Bar is coming soon to Salthill. Galway! Without giving too much away of the stylish interior I am confident this is going to be a regular for Galway fashionistas! Check out the Urban facebook page HERE for all the info.
I will be showing another look from O’Donnell boutique on the blog soon. In the meantime check them out on facebook to see details of their new collection HERE, twitter HERE and instagram HERE. They also have a really cool blog which I am enjoying reading and this is full of tips and ideas for styling their products. Take a look at the blog HERE.
I’d love to hear from you in the comments below. Don’t you just love this yellow top? 🙂 Have you started to add pops of colour to your wardrobe yet?
