Confessions of  a Shopaholic was basically written about me I believe! This weekend I tried to stay away from Galway city in an effort to avoid shopping and so I only ventured as far as my local store. In the pharmacy I spotted the pretty MeMeMe Cosmetics counter! 

This happened.

At first I was only picking up the lip cream as I had been on the hunt for a coral/orange lippie however when the sales assistant informed me that there was an offer on I had to of course pick up something else. I have not tried any MeMeMe Cosmetics products before so I was really looking forward to using these. 

The cute packaging struck me first, I have always been a sucker for nice beauty packaging! I noticed a resemblance to some Benefit products but at a much more reasonable price I was pretty intrigued. 

I have not tried a new blush product in a while and the intensity of this one really appealled to me. I have fair skin with a warm complexion and this product looked great, not too ‘doll like’ and just the right amount of pigmentation. There is a nifty mirror on the inside of the blush box which is great for doing your make-up on the go. The brush is soft and easy to apply.

Although the colour looks really intense in the image above and also at first glance it is however more of a pale coral/orange colour which is really cute for this time of year. I was slightly disapointed that the lip cream did not sit so well on my lips and tried it both with and without the Clinique ‘All About Lips’ product which I use to smooth my lips without fail. I did use two coats of the lip cream as it is quite soft and blended with a lip brush to get the desired look which I was quite happy with.

Overall I do really like both products and will be using the blush quite regularly. I can see myself trying out some more MeMeMe Cosmetics products in the near future especially as they are such good value for the quality of the product.
