I’ve been trying to grow my hair longer for the last while and although I had heard great things about hair growth/oil treatments I had never actually tried one. I was just shampooing and conditioning away as per usual expecting the condition of my hair to improve. So when Old Wives Tail got in touch asking me to review one of their products this was the perfect opportunity to try out a hair treatment. After looking at the various oil and mask treatments I finally chose the Argan & Rosemary Organic Oil Treatment. This treatment aims to improve and protect frizzy, thick hair. The argan oil and shea butter combination strengthens every strand of hair to prevent damage and breakage. This sounded like just what I was looking for in my hair growth quest. The added rosemary oil stimulates the scalp to also encourage growth.
It was really easy to use, just applied to damp hair and left for one hour when it was then shampooed out. I was seriously blown away by the results the first time I tried this treatment. The difference was really noticeable my hair looked and felt in amazing condition all after only one use! I couldn’t believe it. The scent of the treatment is delish too for added bonus points! I can’t recommend this product enough but again it was my first time trying any such hair treatment so I can’t comment on how this compares to other brands. At €17.51 (£13.99) it is a little pricey for the small tub which would give me about 3 treatments worth of product (varies depending on your hair length). I am aiming to use this treatment once every fortnight so keep an eye on my twitter/facebook where I’ll be posting updates.
Have you tried any similar hair treatments? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
