Happy Monday! I’m starting this week off on BecBoop with a mini makeup haul from W7 Cosmetics. I was recently sent these four products to try out and you may have had a little preview already if you are following my Snapchat Bec_Boop. This is not the first time you will have seen W7 Makeup featured on BecBoop as I have reviewed some of their lovely products before. As such I was dying to get stuck into these products too!
W7 Cosmetics is a budget beauty brand available here in the UK and Ireland and is quite well-known for their fantastic eyeshadow palettes. Along with introducing you to each of the products I’ll share my first impressions.
Camouflage Kit
The W7 Camouflage Kit is a multi-purpose concealer kit designed to suit many skin types for just £5.95. I do think this is quite convenient although wasn’t so lucky with the shades. Being quite pale only two of the shades worked with my colouring. These worked quite fine though so no complaints. I tend to be more of a liquid concealer fan so I have enjoyed adding a cream concealer into the mix.
Contour Stick
This should come with a label – the foolproof guide to contouring. No joke, this little contour stick makes the grand artistry of countouring easy. I’m a fan! My only complaint – I received the medium/dark toned version of the W7 Contour Stick which is far too dark for my skin. The highlighter end was perfect though and this added a nice, gold shimmer. It does however also come in natural and fair so I would love to try one of those next! You apply both ends of the stick to highlight and contour and then I used my Real Techniques Expert Face brush to blend blend blend.
Lip Legend
This is a nifty little thing which I am still undecided over. I have yet to see a similar product on the beauty market (please let me know in the comments if you have come across one). The idea is – you apply the W7 Lip Legend on top of your regular lipstick for perfect matte lips. It certainly worked quite well as a top-coat adding longevity to my lipstick
Prime and Glow
W7 Cosmetics Prime and Glow illuminating primer would be another low cost, welcome addition to your beauty collection. I compared this to Erborian Pink Perfect Creme which I featured as part of my Sephora Paris Spring Beauty Haul. The W7 offering is a similar product – a primer with an added illuminating effect which can be worn under your everyday makeup. Aside from being ever so slightly on the oily side I quite liked it. As with the majority of W7 makeup products which are no frills, it is super easy to apply and I just used my fingers to dot the primer on my face in the areas I would like to catch the light.
I’d love to hear from you in the comments below. Have you tried any of these products, let me know what you think!
