Actual Festival Fashion Outfit! #BSTHydePark

Festival Fashion is one of my favourite style trends, it’s something we get to look forward to every year as it always makes a reappearance for Spring/Summer so I was thrilled this year to actually be heading to a festival! Perfect excuse to get my festival fashion on! I went along to see Taylor Swift perform at the British Summertime festival in Hyde Park a couple of weeks ago. You all know I’m absolutely Taylor Swift obsessed, she’s pretty much the only music I listen to so – YES, I was excited! I had seen Taylor Swift perform once before, during her Red Tour in London last year which was absolutely amazing. This is a look at the outfit I wore, we were blessed with sunshine so there was a real festival feel to the day and I embraced that.

Outfit Evaluation

I will keep this outfit evaluation short and sweet as I think the look pretty much speaks for itself. I spotted this suede skirt in the Topshop sale the day before the festival and as I was still in outfit planning mode I thought I would base my whole look around it. Brown isn’t a colour I wear very often as I find myself more drawn to black, white or blue in my fashion palette. This skirt had something special about it though – suede and lace, it was the perfect festival fashion base. I kept the rest of the look simple, an off the shoulder cropped top from Primark in black and a statement choker for a little edge. We also donned some temporary tattoos for the day that was in it.
