Welcome to Spring boopers! What better way to kick off the new Season than with an exclusive look at the new Urban Decay Spring ’15 collection. I popped in to Urban Decay in Debenhams, Galway city to check it out. This was a flying trip as I was super busy preparing for the big move to London. Nonetheless I took a few snaps for the blog on my iPhone which you can view below. Just “Click to View Post” under the image to continue reading and for all the info you need on my current Urban Decay Giveaway.
First off Rachel from Urban Decay showed me the new Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation. This foundation works both wet and dry and I was really impressed with how long-lasting it was. It’s also perfect for travelling as it’s really compact and there’s no need for two separate products – i.e. a liquid foundation and a powder. I tried it wet first as a foundation and then it was brushed on dry to set the look. You can use it either way depending on your preference and desired level of coverage as it’s quite buildable giving either light, medium or full coverage. It blended really easily and is available in 14 different shades. I’d definitely be tempted to add this to my makeup collection and it’s available for €33. Next I had a look at the Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer which is €22. Again, this is super buildable and is soft enough to use even in the delicate under-eye area. The concealer is available in 8 different shades and the Urban Decay makeup artists even recommend using it as a brow-bone highlighter which is something I wouldn’t have thought of. There are also 4 new eyeshadows in the Spring 15 collection; each really richly-pigmented and perfect for adding a bit of sparkle and glam to a look. These are available from Debenhams for €18. Finally I was shown the new Sheer Revolution Lipstick which comes in 10 richly-pigmented shades each available for only €19. I absolutely love the texture and creamy finish of these lipsticks and it was super hard to select just one shade to try for my makeover but in the end I went with Rapture. Lip-butters have become quite popular recently and this offering from Urban Decay seems to be the perfect lip butter/lipstick balance.
Before I left I also had a quick look at the Limited Edition Naked on the Run gift-set. Honestly, if I wasn’t moving abroad this week I would have definitely picked up some of these items. I’ve heard the Naked on the Run is selling out really quickly too so I’d head in-store or online soon if you’re think of getting it.
I’ve linked all the products above in the details so you can shop the collection if you feel like a little treat 🙂

I have entered the competition! I've never tried urban decay (gasp!) but would love to own one of these gorgeous palettes, they are gorgeous! fab blog btw xx
I love Urban Decay Lipsticks (I was never a fan of the naked palettes though- shock horror, I know). They produce such good quality lippies though; you really can't go wrong.
I was a big fan of Urban decay but was let down by my last two purchases so maybe these new products will win me back over again. My all time favourite from UD is the glinda palette 🙂 x
Really, that's disappointing. What products were they? I love their palettes the most I think. The Vice 3 is amazing!
Ah I can't believe it! I only have the Naked 3 but I absolutely love it 🙂 I totally agree though, the lipsticks are so beautiful.
Oh really! You'll love their products 🙂 Thanks for the kind words x
They were the Urban decay naked 3 but myself and a friend are convinced that I got a bad batch or something as they swatch so diffentely in store. Also the flushed palette didn't suit my pale complexion in normal light which broke my heart as the girl told me it was fab on me 🙁 Everyone different though x
