I returned to work today after a short break where I worked as a fashion stylist on some exciting photo shoots and prepared for upcoming shoots. I was so lucky with the days I had off as it was so unbelievably sunny. Last Thursday was my sister Stephanie’s birthday so I really enjoyed spending the day with her. I was delighted the weather was fine enough to take out my maxi!

I found this Maxi-Dress last year in Forever 21, it’s not very often I find a maxi that fits my petite body! I would usually expect to have to get the dress taken up (which is way too much effort) but this one was the perfect length. I had picked up some accessories in Forever 21 recently when I was in Dublin for the Miley Cyrus concert too and they seemed to work well with this outfit. The coral floral necklace is really cute for that Summer feeling and of course I can never resist some bow inspired jewellery so I just had to have this bow ring too! As I’ve mentioned previously one of my favourite Summer trends is hats. I knew when I got this straw fedora hat that I would be able to incorporate it easily into my Summer wardrobe and it worked really well to finish this look. Although in windy Galway I did have to keep a hold on it 🙂 I spotted this Parfois transparent cross bag when I was picking out pieces for the Limerick’s Got Style event last month. I have been looking for a transparent bag for what seems like forever. Although I had my eye more on a clutch type bag, I think this is perfect as I can wear it for a casual daytime look too. I fell in love with many other styles in-store, I love the attention to detail and quality for such an affordable price.

We went along to the Galway Meets Art exhibition which was really interesting. After a sneaky cocktail we then made our way to Cara Pharmacy for an exclusive bloggers beauty event which I’ll be blogging about later in the week.
