It’s been a while since I’ve shared a fashion app review here so today I am filling you in on everything you need to know about Mallzee, the perosnal shopper in your pocket. When I first started writing my blog I reviewed quite a lot of fashion mobile apps and I still enjoy discovering new ones to play around with on my phone.
Mallzee is a free online shopping app available on the iTunes app store. This isn’t a new app by any means but I’ve only just got around to trying it out for myself. The app claims to act like a personal shopper showing you more of the products you like to see and less of those you don’t like. You can also link the app with your facebook profile enabling your friends to provide their opinions on your wishlist. Every woman needs a second opinion when making a big fashion purchase!
Mallzee allows you to add your favourite brands to the app and from first glance it appears a lot of the big name fashion brands have already signed up including ASOS, Motel and Urban Outfitters. Mallzee definitely seems to be one of those apps whereby the more you use it, the more addictive it becomes. Mallzee depends on your regular interaction to be able to show you products to your tastes. A simple swipe on your phone tells the app whether you want a particular dress or top removed from your product list or swipe the other direction to save it for later. The app is designed to allow you to click through and buy the item should you wish to do so…all from the ease of your phone. I love that Mallzee takes online shopping on-the-go and it’s perfect for a quick online browse to feed our shopping addictions when on a short break for example or while commuting on the train.
I really like the simplicity of this app and the fact that it takes into account your previous searches and product finds so that you are effectively already looking at items you will like as soon as you open the app. No time wasted there!
I’d love to hear from you in the comments below. Have you tried out Mallzee yet, what were your thoughts?
