A Love Affair With Fashion was the first fashion blog I stumbled upon back when I discovered fashion blogs. To this day it is the one blog I always read daily without fail. Naty, a Jersey girl with city chic style has taken the fashion world by storm with her inspiring outfit posts. She connects with her readers in a way I admire. I am so thrilled that Naty agreed to do this interview for BecBoop.com and am excited to share this amazing US Fashion blog with my fashionista followers.

Tell us about yourself and how you started blogging? 

I was really just looking for a new creative outlet and a little escape from some of the things that were going on in my life.  I’ve always had this love for fashion and wanted to be able to share my style with others.  I also wanted to show other women that personal style isn’t about the brands you wear.  You can still look great when shopping on a budget  J

What advice would you give fashion bloggers who are just starting out? 

Definitely make sure that you are starting a blog for the right reasons because when you are truly passionate about something, it shines through and it’s acknowledged.  It’s important to stay true to your voice and vision and come up with new ideas to set yourself apart from everyone else.  Consistency is important and so is patience. Everything takes time and it’s really just a big learning process.  As you continue to evolve, so will your blog!  And don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and take advantage of new opportunities. 

Describe your style in three words. 

Chic, edgy, classy.

What is your favourite look which you have featured on your blog to date?  

I have a few, but one of my all time favorites was when I paired a yellow blazer with these blue & white print shorts.  It was a really bold and colorful summer outfit. 

What fashion accessory could you not live without? 

Rings!  I feel naked without them! 

What has been the highest point of your blogging career to date?  

I think one of the biggest moments for me was when I won a contest with People Style Watch and Cotton Fashion back in the beginning of 2013.  That is when things really started to take off for me and I realized that I was going in the right direction. 

How does it feel to know that your blog attracts an International audience ?  

I think it’s amazing!  The internet is such a powerful thing and I love being able to connect with others in all different parts of the world.

Where in the world would you most like to visit?

I really want to travel internationally. It’s been a dream of mine to visit Spain, Paris & London.  I could add so many more places to this list though lol 

What does 2014 have in store for Naty and A Love Affair With Fashion? 

Lots of new projects and hopefully new videos too.  I am hoping to redo my entire blog layout and switch over to a .com as well!
