Style in the City – The Details
Here is another date for your diaries fashionistas! On Wednesday, 4th December I will be co-hosting a charity fashion event ‘STYLE IN THE CITY‘ along with Cotton Face Vintage and our fabulous venue for the night, the Stock Exchange in the heart of Galway city. Style in the City will be a fun-filled night of glamorous fashion in aid of two local charities – Jigsaw Galway and Western Alzheimers. It will all kick-off at 5.30pm with tickets available at the door for €5 (€4 for students) with all proceeds being split equally between the two great causes. There will be a plethora of stalls for you to browse and speak with fashion and beauty experts from the locality. There will also be makeovers, consultations and shopping opportunities available from the stalls at the event. I am so excited to be a part of organising this extravagant night and to bring a night of style to our own Galway city! The fashion show will take place at 7pm showcasing new collections from many local designers and milliners. There will also be an exciting special guest attending on the night!
Raffle, Goodie Bags and Best Dressed Prize (judged by Bec Boop)
Not only are we bringing you all the fashion and beauty you could imagine in one exciting event but there will also be many prize-winning opportunities on the night! The first fifty people to arrive will receive an impressive goodie-bag and we will have a raffle (again all proceeds going to the charitable causes) with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. I am thrilled to announce that I will be judging best-dressed on the night! Here are some tips if you are planning on coming along – I will be looking for someone who has incorporated AW trends into their own personal style and stands out from the crowd with their own individual look. The lucky ‘Best Dressed’ winner will receive the following:
A date with Cotton Face Vintage in her vintage clothing store in Spiddal where the winner and five of your friends will be treated to 20% off in-store, receive goodie-bags and enjoy some treats and drinks. We then have a taxi voucher (value €20 from City Taxis Galway) for you to travel in style to a reserved area in the Stock Exchange and you will be spoiled with hot food and champagne to finish your glamorous night of style.
