“You put high heels on and you change.” the wise words of Manolo Blahnik always ring true for a shortie like me and last week I was invited to a press preview for the Schuh Autumn/Winter 2013 collection in Dublin. A perfect way for a shoe-lover to spend their day and I honestly could have stayed at that press preview for the entire day snapping the various shoes and visualising what outfits I would wear them with.

I arrived early at the event in Kellys Hotel, Dublin and was treated to breakfast by the very kind Schuh PR team. I also had some funky nail art done at the event by Tropical Popical to add a bit of colour and excitement to my daily keyboard view! 

The new Schuh collection features all this seasons trends – metallics, ankle boots, cut-out boots, velvet and chain detail. There is such a great choice and all styles will be available in store at Schuh or online at www.schuh.ie Check out some of the styles available in the collages below. My favourites are definitely the orange metallic sandals, burgundy cut-out ankle boot heels, black sandals with gold chain detail and purple metallic pump heels with silver chain detail. There is definitely something for every shoe-lover available in this collection from mid-size heels to sky-scrapers, loafers to platforms the choice is endless. This collection will have you sorted for the party season no matter what outfit you go with.
