Rush Hair invited me along to their new salon in Kilburn, London for a visit last weekend. I had missed the opening party (July 25th) as I was at home in Ireland for the Galway Races, so I made sure to schedule an appointment for as soon as I returned to London. Rush Hair are a pretty well known British hair group with the Kilburn franchise marking their 67th salon! It was my first visit to a Rush Salon so I was looking forward to it, in London everything is always a new experience for me and I love this!

The salon is located within seconds of Kilburn High Road overground station so it was super easy to find. On arrival I was treated to a coffee, an essential on a Saturday morning of course, as I was introduced to my stylist. I was having a blow-dry so we discussed the different styles available and settled on a wavy blow-dry. Next I was brought into a more private area of the salon for the shampoo/condition treatment followed by the styling.

I loved my new ‘do! Very cute and girly and it worked quite well with the length of my hair – lots of bounce! It also lasted really well, which was great as I ended up heading out on Saturday night with some friends and it was awesome to have my hair already done!

The salon is run by franchise owner Nita Branch who I had the pleasure of meeting during my visit and who has worked with Rush for over seven years. The Kilburn salon is open Monday – Sunday and I’m looking forward to making a return visit soon.
