Boop’s Week | Friday #2

Happy Friday boopers! Here’s a little look at what I got up to since last Friday.

Boop's week 2

Official Betty Boop Share

OMG literally this has made my year!!! In case you hadn’t guessed by my blog name I’m quite the Betty Boop fan. My sister gave me this Betty Boop sweater for Christmas in 2013 I think and it’s one of my most favourite items of clothing. I was working away from home this week and nothing makes me smile more than throwing on my fave item of clothing after a long day’s work especially in this #SweaterWeather. Well I couldn’t believe it when the official Betty Boop Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter all shared my little instagram selfie. At the time of writing this post the Facebook share had in excess of 3,000 likes. Mega exciting!

New Beauty Buys

I know, I know…I’m totally saving for my move to London next month but you must understand – I totally needed these beauty products. Like right away – then and there! Last Sunday I was shopping for beauty essentials in Galway and picked up the brand new Real Techniques 202 Angled Liner brush. How amazing is this? I also needed a new loose powder and popped into Matt O’Flaherty’s in Galway city where they recommended I try a HD powder. Being a big YoungBlood Cosmetics fan I picked up their loose HD powder and I’ve been loving it. Let me know in the comments below if you would like to see a review of any of these products.

Storm Rachel

I’m afraid I don’t have any photos of Storm Rachel which hit Ireland hard this week but I did spend most of the week wondering if I was going to be able to travel home come Friday. You see, I was based in Westport this week with work and I am not kidding I thought the roof was going to come off of the hotel the wind was so bad on Wednesday night! Working super long hours meant I didn’t have to endure the worst of the storm only to dart to and from the car and a mini snowball fight after work on Tuesday night did brighten our spirits. I heard over 40 houses were without power in Athenry, where I live so I guess I had it lucky being away this week. Were you impacted by the storm?

Golden Globes

I’ve been staying up so late this week. I think it’s mostly this stormy weather keeping me awake but of course I was hooked to social media last Sunday night for the Golden Globes red carpet. There were a lot of outfits I loved this year – the fashion was quite on point. My favourite was definitely Emma Stone who rocked it and embraced her youth in a jumpsuit on the red carpet. I mean, an oversized bow sash – what’s not to love!

Be Brave

Be Brave
This was my favourite quote of the week over on Pinterest. I’m moving to London in less than three weeks *eeeeek* and I feel as if this is me being brave with my life. You have to take chances in life and do the things you want to do, in order to live the best life for you. I’ve no idea if I will love living in London or if it simply won’t be for me but I’m taking this amazing opportunity to be brave with my life and moving there!
How did your week go? Here’s what I got up to last week.
