Happy Friday fashionistas! I can’t believe it’s the second Friday of December, the countdown to Christmas is well and truly on! You might have seen over on Facebook that Style in the City 2 took place on Wednesday. Here’s a look at my oufit, just “Click to View Post” under the image to continue reading. I will have a separate post up this weekend with all the details from the night along with photos.
I was working from home the day of the event and had absolutely no time to plan my outfit. I knew this gold sequin pencil skirt was perfect for the event as the theme of the night was GLAM. I had no idea what I was going to wear with it though! After trying on about ten different black tops and still feeling like there was something missing from the overall look I decided to try on this ‘More Issues Than Vogue’ tee and it was perfect! It just completed the look and I felt like the outfit was a very Bec Boop take on the glam theme. You might remember this skirt I received from the lovely Want Her Dress when I was at the London Bloggers Festival a few months ago. The skirt is super easy to wear and I like how it can be dressed up really glam or incorporated into a more edgy look; similar to what I went for. There’s no going wrong with sequins this time of year too! My housemate Àine gave me a super glam hairstyle to go with the look and I loved it. It’s so different to any hairstyle I’ve tried before.
I have officially finished up at work for the Christmas holidays and I’ve such a busy few weeks planned with blogging/vlogging! I’m off to London this weekend with Walk Shoes and Dr. Martens for the #WalkYourStyle competition I won. I’ll be vlogging the weekend over on the Bec Boop YouTube channel so you can follow my London adventures there. You will be able to read all about the Style in the City 2 charity fashion event which I helped organise on the blog tomorrow.
I’d love to hear from you in the comments below, let me know what you think of this outfit and how you would style the gold sequinned pencil skirt.
