All of the outfit details are in the description box under the video over on YouTube. I decided to put together this lookbook because Converse shoes are really an everyday shoe that can be styled in a huge variety of ways. Nearly everyone has at least one pair of Converse in their wardrobe and they can be worn at all times of the year no matter what the weather. They’re uber comfortable and with so many different styles available there’s something to suit everyone. I put together three looks with three of my favourite pairs of Converse to show the versatility of these shoes.

Look 1

Look 1 takes a grungey style leather and purple tartan pair of cons and incorporates them into a trendy everyday look. Printed pants are a wardrobe must-have and I wanted to demonstrate that cons don’t have to be worn with jeans or shorts/tights combos. These black and white printed pants from Miss Selfredge looked great as the bottom of the leg just sits on top of the converse. I layered this grey shimmery coat from Warehouse over a purple knit top from Bershka. I wanted this look to have a girly feel to it and these pink flower earrings from Mexican Heart did the trick.

Look 2

Look 2 is a more fun and casual look keeping it really really simple since the luminous pink detail in the cons do most of the talking here! I paired them with faux-leather joggers from Forever 21 and a Parental Advisory tee from Primark. I always tend to have something in my hair; be it a hat or a hairband so I popped on this white bow hairband to complete the look.

The final look has a more chic feel to it. It is possible to have a really feminine look when wearing converse and I wanted to portray that. Boyfriend style jeans from River Island contrasted well with the tailored Hollister blouse. A crisp white blouse is another wardrobe essential and is great to give that polished look. I added some pops of pink with the Parfois clutch bag and the floral hairband which I picked up in a London vintage market. How cute is the ‘love you’ necklace from Primark too? I love it!
So there is three different ways Bec Boop would style Converse. I’d love to know which look is your favourite and let me know in comments below how you style Converse?
