Benefit Lollitint & Lollibalm | Review

When I was at the Cara Pharmacy bloggers event earlier this month I treated myself to some Benefit goodies. After trying out the Lollitint product as part of the make-up demonstration I just had to have it along with it’s little sister Lollibalm.

Benefit Lolli Balm new tint
Lollitint is the newest shade available from the Benefit cheek and lip stain range joining Benetint, Posietint and Cha Cha tint. It is a cute purple candy-orchid shade which looks amazing on. The packaging is so cute and girly, I always keep my Benefit beauty products in their original boxes. They are too nice to throw away! At the bloggers event we were shown how to apply the tint. Using the brush apply three dots on the apples of your cheek and blend with fingertips. I would usually use a powder blush but especially during this time of year a tint is great for a light, fresh feel. I also find that this shade works with most skin-tones which was surprising. Only a few dabs are needed however the colour can be built up quite easily to get the desired shade. As it is a stain it is quite long-lasting. The tint can be used on lips also, I am a lipstick queen but I have really fallen for Lollitint.
New to the market also are Benefit’s tinted lip balm range. Again there are four available to complement the tints (Benebalm, Posiebalm, Lollibalm and Cha Cha Balm). These hydrating lip balms are perfection! They can be used alone for a light tinted look or on top of the tint for a more vibrant look. The balm alone is quite a light shade but really moisturising and again can be built up with a couple of applications. I think these lip-balms look so adorable and make a great handbag essential.
Lollitint retails at €34.50 and Lollibalm is €23, both from Cara Pharmacy.
Have you tried any of Benefit’s stains or lip balms? What were your thoughts?
