Looking for an excuse to visit Galway soon? Why not come along to the Galway Designers and Bloggers Showcase taking place on Sunday, February 2nd in the Stock Exchange, Galway. The event is being organised by Sorcha Browne from Sorcha Style’s and aims to showcase the designer talent in Galway along with an opportunity to meet some of Galway’s best fashion bloggers. 

The event starts from 7pm and features the designs of Sorcha Style’s. Guest designers also showcasing on the night include Anna Kurylik, Ceri Staunton, and Louise Ní Críochnil. These are some of Galway’s most talented designers along with some new up-and-coming designers which I can promise will be presenting exciting and unique collections for your enjoyment.

Sorcha has planned this event with the background intention of getting as many creative Galway heads together as possible and this includes giving us Galway fashion bloggers a forum to speak about topics we feel strongly about. I am excited to announce that Bec Boop will be one of four guest bloggers speaking at the Showcase. I will be joined by the fabulous Shannon Barry The Edge of Glamour, Sinead Reilly Sans Reason. The topic I will be speaking on is ‘Networking and Blogger Events’ so if you are a newbie blogger or someone considering taking up blogging this is an event you will not want to miss! Michelle McDonagh Intrigued and Infatuated and Shannen Van Ravestijn All Things Fashion will both be on hand to provide one-on-one blogging advice at the event. 

Entry to the event is via donations at the door with all proceeds going towards the charity COPE so please do come out and support on the night. There will also be a raffle with some fabulous prizes up for grabs. The facebook event page is being launched tomorrow and I will provide all further details once available! I would advise attendee’s to dress to impress as there will be an exciting special guest there to judge the ‘Best Dressed’ competition!
