This is a trend which I absolutely love and is very popular ‘du jour’! Parisian style is something I appreciate not just in fashion, be it home decor food, movies, jewellery this trend never gets old. Even in music the mention of Paris or the whisper of an ooh la la is enough! I am listening to Grace Potters & the Nocturnals while blogging tonight hence the name of the post. I have been looking forward to putting this post together for quite some time. I love Paris as a fashion capital and also as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Here are some of my favourite Parisian fashion pieces to ensure you are looking great ‘cap-á-pie’.

I love this pretty blue floral You Me Oui vest top available from New Look. I actually spotted this while shopping a few weeks ago and ended up treating myself to it! A fashionista deserves a treat every now and then! When I tried it on I found that the neckline was a little high and so it was more difficult to style than expected however the top looks so pretty with black skinnies and heels. Slogan tees and floral prints are also very popular this season making this top is a triple threat!
ASOS – Brashy Couture (Buy it here) |
This is a very simple classy Paris t-shirt.I have noticed on other fashion blogs lately that simple black and white t-shirts are making quite a comeback and I think this would look chic and trendy under a fitted black blazer and tucked into high waisted jeans.
Forever 21 (Buy it here) |
Add that little bit of ‘Je ne sais quoi’ to your wardrobe with this pretty Eiffel Tower necklace which is a super bargain at less than €3 in Forever 21. This also comes in black or gold and looks great with a simple classy top. I confess, I also purchased this little beauty! I don’t see this trend going away any time soon and by picking up some cute statement pieces like this you fashionistas can ensure you are always looking trés chic!
Forever 21 (Buy it here) |
How cute is this Eiffel tower chiffon dress also from Forever 21? I love the pretty patent bow belt (Bows are my other current fashion craze!). Dresses of this style look great with black tights and pumps and a blazer for a day time look and can be dressed up quickly for a night out. I purchased a blouse with a similar print from Penneys recently and the eiffel tower pattern just looks so cute and Parisian.
This trend is very easy to work (Pret-a-porter some may say) and even without investing in new pieces you can work the Parisian style easily, all you need is some red lipstick and a striped top. Why not go all out and wear a berét.
What do you think of this trend? Will you be wearing Parisian style this Summer?
