I spent some time in the US recently on a business trip between New York City and Columbus, Ohio. Of course this was an opportunity to visit Sephora and I think I visited three Sephora stores in total so I have managed to put together a US Sephora haul post with video. Finally, another YouTube video! I completely stopped updating my YouTube channel when I joined Periscope over a year ago but I am trying to slowly get back into it; so I hope you enjoy. Don’t forget to subscribe to the BecBoop YouTube channel!
I picked up mostly palettes including the Anastasia Beverley Hills Pro Series Contour Palette and Modern Renaissance eye shadow palette. I was also eyeing up the Tarte beauty counter but mostly settled on the following beauty brands which are not easily come by in the UK – Anastasia Beverley Hills, Too Faced and Becca Cosmetics. In terms of lip products I treated myself to the cult beauty fave Anastasia Beverley Hills Liquid Lipstick and also the luxurious coco balm from the Estee Edit range. As I’m a big fan of thick, bristly mascara brushes I knew I had to try out Too Faced’s Better than Sex mascara which I have been loving! Just before I left New York my friend gifted me the Becca Cosmetics Champagne Collection Face Palette which I had spotted in Zoella’s most recent beauty video and had my eye out for ever since. This is pretty much sold out online already and it is probably my most favourite Sephora beauty find during this trip.
I can’t wait to start using each of these beauty products and am hoping to do some individual reviews here so please let me know in the comments if you would like to hear more about any of these products. I honestly think it’s a blessing that we don’t have Sephora here in the UK or Ireland, it is every beauty lovers idea of heaven! I could honestly have just done my NYC shopping in Sephora and been quite happy! I also love the whole experience of visiting a Sephora store. Who knows when I will get to one next!
