It’s hard to believe another London Fashion Week has come and gone! I loved covering London Fashion Week SS18 making it my 5th LFW to attend and cover LIVE on social media! As usual I head along to London Fashion Week on the Saturday and Sunday (as I’m working on the other days) and I bring my community along LIVE on Twitter! In today’s blog post I’m sharing a round-up of my London Fashion Week SS18 coverage with details of all the shows I attended and including LIVE video replays for you to enjoy. I’m also talking about my London Fashion Week outfit from Saturday as it’s one I truly loved styling and I feel it really represented my brand and I for LFW.

London Fashion Week SS18 Shows

My London Fashion Week SS18 coverage got off to an early start on Saturday morning when I went along to see Filipino designer John Herrera’s SS18 show ‘Armada’ at Fashion Scout. I was really looking forward to this show as I have a lot of friends in the Filipino community who had told me great things about John Herrera’s designs. I was excited to be invited backstage where I shared some behind-the-scenes over on my Snapchat (Bec_Boop) and Instagram Stories (@Bec_Boop). I always enjoy the backstage experience at LFW and it was a real thrill to see Herrera add some finishing touches to his collection before it graced the catwalk. I took my seat front row (weeeeee) and set-up my mobile kit ready to live-stream the show over on twitter (@BoopFashionista) and you can watch the replay right here:

Next I popped by designer Jiri Kalfar’s SS18 showroom to view their new collection which was inspired by bumble-bees! I loved the vibrant colours and slogan tees and enjoyed sharing this over on my instagram stories and snapchat. Later on Saturday evening I made my way to the Alba Hotel for the iconic Fashion International SS18 show. This is always one of my favourite LFW shows to view and this season was no exception. I was thrilled to be invited by one of the designers, Omar Mansoor, to view the show front row and Omar Mansoor even decked me out in one of his limited edition silk scarves which perfectly completed my LFW outfit (more on that below).

On Sunday morning I started my day at the London Fashion Week SS18 showspace to view Edeline Lee’s SS18 presentation. I’ve covered Edeline Lee’s collections in previous LFW seasons and I always love them, it’s no surprise she is one of Taylor Swift’s favourite designers! This presentation truly amazed me, I loved the set-up, daring designs and fashion inclusivity all combined with perfect live music! Watch the presentation replay here:

Next I was on to a London Fashion Week SS18 presentation with a twist! Nicola Brindle’s SS18 collection ‘Essex Girl’ with a rebellious and empowering theme was set to a dancing presentation. I really enjoyed this presentation and the collection was incredible and so fun to view!

Finally I made my way back to Fashion Scout late Sunday evening for Hallie Sara’s SS18 catwalk show! This time I chilled out and enjoyed the New York designers London Fashion Week debut show without live-streaming it.
