It is so important to include a face serum in your daily skincare routine, something which I have only added to mine in recent years. In today’s post I’m sharing my favourite face serums and why I love each of these little skin-savers. Serum is usually applied (sparingly) before your moisturiser and are a key step in the anti-ageing skincare process. Most serums are at the higher end of the skincare price range so it is worth doing your research and picking the most appropriate for your skincare needs. Here are the four that I have been using most frequently.
1. Forest Essentials Soundarya Advanced Serum
I picked this serum up at Forest Essentials when I was in India last year. Honestly once I spotted that it contained 24k gold I just had to have it. The idea of applying gold to my skin had me completely sold! You will have first seen it in my India beauty and skincare haul. This is a luxury skincare serum, so not one I use on a daily basis. I try to apply it once a week, very sparingly as a little goes a long way. You literally only need one or two drops for each application. Price Rs 3,395 P.S. you can find it on Amazon too.
2. REN Instant Firming Beauty Shot
I first reviewed the REN Skincare Instant Firming Beauty Shot on BecBoop quite a while ago and it’s had a well-deserved place in my evening skincare routine since then. Since this is more of an instant-fix skincare serum I find myself applying it as part of my morning skincare routine when I tend to be in a rush. There’s nothing like the sensation of an instant lift to get your day off to a good start! Price £46
3. Lancome Advanced Génifique
I use the Lancome Advanced Génifique serum usually as part of my evening skincare routine. It’s quite a lightweight serum and is pretty much the most tried and tested skincare serum that I have come across. The dropper applicator makes it very easy to apply as only one or two drops are necessary daily. Price from £59.99
4. Face B4 Skincare
I was first introduced to the Face B4 Skincare range when I reviewed them here on BecBoop last June as part of the Face B4 Skincare Clinic. This is a more budget friendly serum which is suitable for all skin types and vitamin enriched to soothe the skin. Price £14.99

Nice! I think I will try the Forest one next. I currently have Caudalie’s Vinoperfect Radiance Serum from b-glowing and I love it but I also like trying new face serums!
