I do love to have my nails done so I was thrilled to be invited into Margot London recently for a manicure. This is a cute, family-run beauty salon in Crouch-End which was super convenient for me to get to on a Saturday morning. 

Gel nails are an addiction, I’m forever popping in to have shellacs or gel nails done but I had not yet tried the OPI gel nail manicure, so this was a treat. Margot London is a family-run boutique salon opened two years ago by mother-daughter team Sophie and Sarah. 

Often when it comes to nail salons the staff focus on speed rather than quality of service but the team at Margot London took the time to really care for my nails. Unfortunately my weakness for gel nails means I have quite weak nails but Sophie shared lots of tips about how I can easily change my manicure routine up to better care for and strengthen my nails. It’s rare, especially in London nail salons, to feel so welcomed and have the team show great patience in your treatment.

I opted for OPI gel nail manicure and after browsing through the wide range of shades eventually settled on OPI Aloha from their Hawaii collection. I loved the shade, a beautiful coral-red as I’m desperately clinging onto the end of Summer. Along with nail treatments Margo London offer both male and female waxing, spray tan, Billion Dollar Brows and lash tints.
