As mentioned in my recent updates blog post I was at the Galway Races festival again this year. This is literally my favourite time of year to be in Galway city. Fashion and fun come together in this amazing city and there’s just a really great atmosphere all week. I always go to the races with my sister Stephanie, who is a model with Catwalk Modelling Agency and we go all out for the week when it comes to our outfits and hats! Trust me, the planning begins months in advance.
This year we were thrilled to be wearing Mark Garvie Millinery again for the week and we had such fun styling each look. We decided to kick off the week with one of the most popular trends spotted at London Fashion Week this year – Twinning. We wore matching pastel fedora hats by Mark Garvie Millinery and styled them up in our own unique styles.

Press
After the first day of the Galway races we were so surprised to find our faces on the front page of the Irish Independent. We also made an appearance in the Irish Mirror Newspaper but I don’t have a photo of that yet to add here (I will edit and add once I get my hands on a copy!). It was a super windy day which the press did an awesome job of capturing by snapping us holding on tight to our hats!
Not content with being in the newspapers we also made a little appearance on TV during the RTE2 Galway Races coverage.
