Two weeks ago I was invited by Cara Pharmacy, Galway to an exclusive Benefit beauty bloggers event. It’s always great when there are blogger events on down this side of the country and even better when they said I could bring my sister, Stephanie, along as it was her birthday that day.
After we arrived on the red carpet we were greeted with a yummy spread of treats! The event then kicked off with an introduction to two of Benefit’s newest products – Dream Screen (invisible matte sunscreen) and Instant Comeback Serum. After this we were paired up in order to demonstrate and test the products on each other. Stephanie and I were paired together which was a lot of fun. We received demo’s of most Benefit skincare and cosmetic products in the range which we got to test then. I really liked the Big Easy Complexion Perfector, which I had not tried before. Stephanie tried the Hello Flawless foundation which I have previously reviewed.
The Benefit make-up team then gave us a lesson in brow-mapping which was a completely new concept to me. It was really interesting to shape my brows using this method and something which I will try and do more often. We also received an exclusive preview of the brand new Benefit They’re Real Eye-liner which I must say looks pretty epic! I will definitely be trying this out again.
Before we left we each received a Benefit Goodie Bag which contained a voucher for a makeover in Cara Pharmacy, Posie-Balm, Longwear Eyeshadow in ‘Thanks a Latté’ and some samples which I’ve included images of above. As we also had a 20% discount that night I treated myself to Lolli-Tint and Lolli-Balm which I fell in love with after the demo. I will be reviewing these over the next few weeks so keep an eye out!
Thank you to Cara Pharmacy for a lovely evening and for my new Benefit goodies!
Have you tried any of these products before? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below? Would you use brow-mapping to shape your brows?
