Wednesday is such a fun day, it means we are halfway through the working week and very close to the weekend. Today’s look features the Ene Wave Green wrap-style dress from Ingenue London.

The colours in this dress are so vibrant and perfect for a weekend event especially at this time of year. Ideally I think this would make a great outfit for a dinner date, or attending a communion/confirmation. I also think this style of dress is great for most body-shapes – if you have a larger chest it looks quite flattering as it can accentuate a smaller waist and at the same time the loose fit means you feel really comfortable wearing it. I love the tie at the side which can be as loose or tight as you wish and really completes the look.
The Ene Wave dress is from Ingenue London which is designed by Dubliner Mena Ryan and features dresses, jumpsuits which are bang on-trend for SS14 and all priced under €140. Ingenue London has already attracted a celeb following and I was so pleased to wear one of their signature print wrap dresses. I am also excited to say that I will be featuring an interview with the designer herself on this blog over the next few months so keep an eye out. As the dress is so bold I felt the accessories should be kept minimal and went with black and gold. I would usually wear a blazer with a dress like this but as I wanted you to see the full detail of the dress and not take away from it I decided against the blazer for this look. This green print really suited my colouring and if you check out the online store you will find a print and colour to suit your personal taste. The black handbag is from Just for 5 Pounds. The most fun place to find an online bargain! You might remember I recently featured a pair of ankle boots from Just for 5 Pounds in an outfit post, well I am still blown away by the comfort of those boots and how well they have lasted. For a bit of fun I decided to dress up the look with my Christian Louboutin shoes. To be honest I rarely wear these pumps as I find them so so so uncomfortable to wear! But hey I must take them for a walk every now and then right?! I wanted to show that you can accessorize bargains alongside designer products and still look stylish and on-trend.
I hope you like this look. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
