If you have picked up a copy of Xposé magazine’s November issue just out on the shelves you might notice a certain Bec Boop featured in the ‘How We Wear It’ section!! This is my first glossy magazine feature and I am truly excited! I was contacted by Xposé Magazine to show how I would style the ‘Punk Rebel’ trend which is a key trend for AW13.
I am by no means a ‘punk-rocker’ but I believe that in the spirit of fashion it is fun to mess around with different trends and venture outside of your comfort zone every once in a while. You can read the details and story behind my look in the magazine and here are some of the original images from the shoot. The setting was a chilly day at the Spanish Arch in Galway and I donned my favourite double leather, studs and bling to put together my take on ‘punk rebel’ fashion. I stuck to a colour block look of grey and black which worked well due to the combination of textures in the outfit. If you were a Fashionista Follower from the very start you might remember the Lipsy dress I am wearing below from this post, here I chose to layer leather on woolen on leather.
