Last week I received an invitation from Irish Tatler Magazine to attend an exclusive readers event in Arnotts showcasing the A/W collection from Coach. To say I was excited was an understatement, I love handbags and although I don’t own a Coach handbag (yet!) I couold not wait to see the new collection. We were treated to champagne on arrival and my favourite fashion event treats – macaroons!
Along with the beautiful ruching detail and dusky pink handbags I just could not get enough of the monochrome items in the collection. I tried on one bag which coincedntally looked great with my outfit for the night. The collection was beautifully presented and we received a little history lesson in fashion! I was interested to learn that Coach bags were initially designed for men with the mens satchel still being a stapel item in the collection. I also learned about the importance of moisturising your leather handbag!
