This weekend I attended the Great Pink Run in the Phoenix Park, Dublin to support my brother who was running the race. In between the race start and the finish line I found some time to take a few outfit pics before I headed to the city for a bit of a shopping spree.

This is my take on the sports-luxe trend which was very popular this Summer. I paired the leather-look shorts with my navy and black fishnet tights which I also featured in my #LDNBloggersParty post.If you are not brave enough to have your legs out during the day or the weather prevents you from doing so; wearing tights under shorts can be a cool and stylish day-time look. Blue and black is one of my favourite colour combos to wear and I feel it really worked for this edgy look. I recently picked up this ‘Parental Advisory Explicit Content’ tee in Penneys/Primark and had been looking forward to styling it. I was a huge Eminem fan back in the day so this reminded me of that phase in my life. It is a really cute oversized t-shirt which is suprisingly comfortable to wear. I really like the rolled up sleeves on the tee. Penneys has lots of logo/graphic t-shirts at the moment so you have plenty of choice with regards to this trend. Fishnet tights can sometimes be verging on dangerous territory but I admit I do enjoy the challeng of styling them in a trendy look.
As we welcome September this outfit really works as a transitional look for A/W.
