Oriflame is a Swedish beauty brand which I was introduced to at the #LDNBloggersParty and I admit I had not heard of them before this; however I was very impressed! Oriflame products are very different to what is currently on the market and each product comes luxuriously packaged. Oriflame products can be purchased from a consultant or online, with a lot of the R&D work behind the brand being completed here in Ireland! The lovely team at Faith PR invited myself and some other Irish Beauty Bloggers to this exclusive event in Dublin last week.
It has become quite a fun challenge for me to juggle attending blog related events with my day job and so far I have coped well. I tore down Grafton street after work with my heavy laptop bag on my back and arrived (very puffed out) at the Avoca café, on Suffolk Street to a very warm welcome from the Oriflame team. The set-up was absolutely divine. Pretty flowers and beauty products adorned the tables. We were spoiled with prosecco and nibbles whilst we took a look at the products. I met the lovely Nina from Buckets of Blush at the event, however as I had to leave early (to catch my train back to Galway!) I did not get a chance to talk to all the other beauty bloggers, hopefully next time!
We were treated to a really informative make-up demonstration where we were shown how to recreate a simple nude look, bold red lips and a smokey eye look using Oriflame products. I went away from the event with some top beauty tips, thanks to Jennifer Ireland MUA. Then before it was time for me to dart off again I was given the most amazing goodie bag ever, absolutely crammed full of full-size beauty products from Oriflame. That was the first train journey where I was not bored; as I spent the entire time ooh-ing and ahh-ing over my new products.
The products I received were:
Optimals Cleansing Milk
Optimals Balancing Toner
Perfecting Face Primer
Studio Artist Pressed Powder
Giordani Gold Bronzing Pearls
Eye Shadow Duo
Absolute Concealer for Eyes
ECollagen 3D+ Anti-Wrinkle Eye Care
2FX Mascara
Studio Artist Concealer
Studio Artist Foundation
Lip Impact Crayon
Nail Polish
Giordani Gold Jewel Lipstick
