Emmys 2013 Bec Boop’s Best Dressed

I miss awards season so much! Being slightly celebrity style obsessed ‘Best Dressed’ is one of my favourite posts to write! The 2013 Emmys Awards fed my ‘awards season fashion’ hunger briefly, as they took place last night. Here are my favourite looks from the night:
Emmys 2013 Best Dressed Fashion

Sarah Hyland in Carolina Herrera

I was drawn to this jewel green look straight away! How gorgeous does ‘Modern Family’ actress Sarah Hyland look? I love the accessorising also and the coffee lipstick which is very on trend for A/W’13. The lace detail and waist line accentuates her figure and the emerald green complements her olive skin, I love this colour on the actress!

Rose Byrne in Calvin Klein Collection

Rose Byrne is one of my favourite actresses and I nearly did not recognise her with her new honey hair-do. She took simplistic style to a whole new level at this years Emmys. The pale pink figure-hugging column custom top and skirt combo are super flattering and show off the actresses svelte figure. The silver Jimmy Choo clutch worked very well with the dress and added that touch of party glam.

Zooey Deschanel in J. Mendel

I am a sucker for bows as you all know and Zooey’s baby blue satin number with bow detail is no exception.  I especially love her jewelled clutch from Edie Parker, these clutch bags proved very popular at this years Emmys.

Constance Zimmer in Chagoury

Re-visiting the flapper era Constance Zimmer really stood out in this black and tan dress, I love this regal look and the fishtail is very elegant. The sheer top adds a touch of sex appeal without over-doing it.

January Jones in Givenchy

The ‘Mad Men’ actress looks pretty in pink in this rose lace look. I love the structured corset fit and contrast with the uber-girly lace floral cut-out. By going minimalist on the accessories she ensures that the dress really stands on it’s own.
