Hearts & Bows (OOTD)

Hope you had a lovely weekend fashionistas and that the week started off well. I have so much news for you! I am attending the OohLaLa Blog Awards tomorrow night which I am very excited for (and still outfit planning for)! I am also thrilled to announce I was nominated in two categories in the Blog Awards Ireland and want to thank everyone who voted for Bec Boop Fashionista World. I was nominated in the categories ‘Best Newcomer Blog’ and also ‘Best Fashion/Beauty Blog’. Finally, I have been very busy planning for the Galway Bloggers Party which I am hosting in September, read about it here.
This is a cute outfit I wore on Saturday on a little shopping date with my fiancΓ©. I featured two of these items on my first YouTube haul…see if you can spot them here. I think this is a really girly outfit and so fun and easy to wear. The dress is from Penneys/Primark. Initially I thought that the print was a little much on the dress so I added the grey cropped top to break things up a bit. The top is also from Penneys/Primark and I thought it was a cute touch to bring the bow outside the top. I don’t think I could live with myself if I kept a bow hidden! The shoes are my trusty flat purple Clarks…also with a cute bow! Clarks shoes are so comfortable and long-lasting and I love the colour of these ones. The shoulder bag is from Guess in Westfield when I was in London last month along with the silver leather look cropped jacket from Bershka.

What do you do to break up a patterned item when it becomes a bit too much?

I also filmed a short video about this outfit which I will put up on my new youtube channel tomorrow.
