Benefit: Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow
Quick beauty blast tonight – review of a foundation I was really excited to buy and sadly it didn’t WOW me.
This is an oil free foundation by Benefit which is one of my favourite beauty brands. It is a brightening make up which comes in 9 different shades with SPF 25. Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow is supposed to make your skin luminous without looking shiny.
I am a sucker for nice beauty product packaging and Benefit always scores high in this department. I really like that the pump goes upwards as the foundation is used so there is no annoying excess foundation left on the bottom.
I used shade “Believe in me” – Ivory which is one of the lighter shades available. I really like the texture of the foundation however I was very surprised by how oily this ‘oil-free’ foundation looked! My skin type is normal to dry and when using this foundation it looked oily most days which was a disappointment. After first applying the foundation in the morning it looked nice and matte, similar to the blended image above. As the day wore on it lost the matte effect and started to look a little too luminous in my opinion. I think this foundation is better suited for a night out make up look rather than an all-day make up.
Have you tried Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow? What did you think?

Great post! It doesn't look oily in the picture, though, but I like that it's blended well! Thanks for the review xo

I have similar skin tone and always looking for a good shade/texture with SPF – not sure that those three things will ever get along 🙁 Defo stay away from BB creams with SPF if shiny-ness is a problem..

Thanks, yeah it only starts to look oily after a little while of wearing it. I guess using more powder during the day would help this problem. x
