Mascara is the one make-up item I could not live without! I have very fair eyelashes and I find a few quick strokes really make a difference. To date, I have been more of a fan of the older style mascara brushes, the ones which have softer bristles on the applicator. When my fiancé returned from his recent trip State-Side with this little treat for me I just had to try it and I have to say it has me convinced!
According to Covergirl this is a breakthrough in no-clump mascara so I was intrigued to try it. As you can see from the images below one coat of Clump Crusher did not make a world of difference to my lashes. Nor did it add the 200% more volume as promised. I was not feeling too optimistic at this stage however being the mascara lover I am I added a few more coats of mascara and I really could notice the volume then. The curved brush ensures it is easy to apply and I found that it gave my lashes a bit of a natural curl. Personally, I love the finished look of this mascara and I think this will be my daily mascara for the near future.
I am lucky enough to have very long eyelashes which is excellent for reviewing mascara products as it is easy to see the effect the mascara has, good or bad. The down side to long lashes is that they can get irritated pretty easily but I found that this mascara did live up to its name and there was minimal clumps.
I love Covergirl cosmetics although they are not available in Ireland (*sad face*) a quick eBay search gives you lots of options to purchase Covergirl online.
