The 2013 MTV Movie Awards took place last night in Culver city, California. I love looking at the fashion on display at awards ceremonies and the MTV Movie Awards is one which never disappoints. Here are some of Bec Boop’s favourite looks from the night!
Selena Gomez looked glistening in gold wearing a beautiful Julien MacDonald long sleeved minidress which sparkled against the overcast evening in Cali. The outfit confirms Selena’s position as a trend-setter among the young Hollywood Fashionistas and contrasts the looks she has been sporting on her ‘Spring Breakers’ publicity tour. The platform peep-toe heels work perfectly with the beading and detail in the dress which allow for minimal accesories. I absolutely love her hairstyle and the messy braid is perfect to complete the look. Selena easily wins best hair and make-up on the night!
Kim Kardashian worked the red carpet last night in a blackYSL dress and Dior shoes. Somebody tell me how this Fashionista is still wearing heels with a six month baby bump! The emphasised bat-wing sleeves and sexy keyhole fail to distract from that baby bump 😉 I like that she kept the hair and make up to a reasonably natural look and accesorised with a simple gold necklace.
I almost didn’t recognise Snooki in this stunning gown. I absolutely love that the gown is from her own upcoming clothing line Snooki Couture which I cannot wait to check out! This dress screams ‘AWARDS CEREMONY’ and is ultra-flattering on Snooki as she shows off a newly slim figure and bouncing tresses. I think this dress is the perfect combination of ‘Snooki-Glam’! The gorgeous sparkles and elegant hair is emphasised with a thigh high slit showing off one perfectly tanned leg.
Emma Watson was ‘Trailblazing’ the red carpet last night in Maxime Simoens. I love that the actress always wears age-appropriate outfits such as the minidresses she has been rocking recently. This one is another success.The halterneck and belted waistline enhance her ultra-petite figure and she completed the look with black platform sandals. It is no surprise she was a winner on the night picking up MTV Trailblazer award.
